High Salary PG

Chris Paul, HOU vs SAC ($9,500): The Kings are 29th against point guards in their last 15 games. Paul needs 42.7 fantasy points to reach value on Wednesday. The only concern for Paul, and other members of the Rockets, is that this one gets out of hand early and he doesn’t play enough minutes to put up huge numbers. Harden is the more likely of the two to have a big game in less minutes. Even if he doesn’t play a ton, 40 fantasy points should be no issue for Paul. And if his minutes are up, that’s even better. ****

Kyrie Irving, BOS vs LAC ($8,300): Irving has missed value in his last two, bu the Clippers are 24th against point guards in their last 15 games. Irving had 43 fantasy points in 28 minutes against the Clippers on Jan. 24. With the Celtics struggling on offense, it’ll be up to Irving to carry the load for his team. He’s a guy who will take on that responsibility and deliver, especially against this matchup. He needs 37.3 fantasy points to reach value and should be over 40 fantasy points. ****

Donovan Mitchell, UTA vs PHO ($7,900): The Jazz have won 10 straight and the Suns have not won 10 games all season. Alright, that’s an exaggeration, but they are a poor defensive team and are getting blown out by double digits on a nightly basis. Not a good sign when you’re going up against the hottest team in the league. Oh yeah, the Jazz are at home. Mitchell had 48.25 fantasy points against the Spurs on Monday. He’s liable to go over 50 fantasy points in this contest. The only concern is things getting out of hand and the game being over by the fourth. *****
