High Salary SG

Jimmy Butler, MIL vs DEN ($7,100): Butler has missed value in his last two. This matchup is too good for him to miss value again. He’s averaging 47.5 fantasy points in two games against the Timberwolves this season. He needs 41.1 fantasy points to reach value on Thursday. Anything less than 45 fantasy points would be a disappointment for the Minnesota star. *****

Will Barton, DEN at MIL ($6,800): Barton has been over value in seven of his last eight games. His one miss was that ugly game against Houston where nothing went right for the Nuggets. He needs 29.4 fantasy points to reach value on Thursday. Even though the Nuggets offense struggles on the road, Barton’s recent play is a good sign for his value on Thursday. ****

High Value SG

Gary Harris, DEN at MIL ($5,900): Harris has missed value in three straight contests. If Jamal Murray is out, he’s currently listed as probable, Harris will pick up extra duties as the point guard. The Bucks are seventh against shooting guards in their last 15 games. Harris should get you at least the 25.5 fantasy points he needs to reach value. ***

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, LAL at MIN ($5,100): Caldwell-Pope had 29 fantasy point against the Pelicans on Wednesday. He’s been over value in three straight contests. He struggled in the Christmas Day game against the Timberwolves, providing just 17.25 fantasy points in that contest. He’s played well in recent contests, and if Isaiah Thomas manages to stay in the game, that will help Caldwell-Pope’s value. ***
