2018 NFL Draft: Jacksonville Jaguars 7 round mock draft

Duval County was rocking all season thanks to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Now this young team will look to load up in the NFL Draft for a 2018 run.
What a season for the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2017. A disappointing loss to the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship has fans excited for the future. For the first time in what feels like forever, the Jaguars will be picking towards the end of the draft. Here is how they should use their picks to prepare for another deep playoff run.

Round 1 – Pick 29
Isaiah Wynn, G/T, Georgia
What an odd occurrence for this Jacksonville team, picking in the bottom quarter of the draft. This team is loaded with talent on both sides of the ball. Most draft analysts point to them addressing the quarterback position but in this instance the top five quarterbacks were all taken. Instead of reaching for a player like Lamar Jackson, the Jaguars would be wise to go best player available. Luckily for them the best player is Isaiah Wynn out of Georgia.
One of the spots the Jaguars can use an upgrade to would be interior offensive line. After playing left tackle for Georgia’s run to the National Championship, Wynn is projected to kick inside to guard.
On tape it was rare to see Wynn lose a rep, never mind multiple. Even against the elite defenses in the SEC and CFB Playoffs. If Quinton Nelson was not in this class it is easy to imagine Wynn being discussed as a can’t miss guard prospect. He can kick out to tackle in a pinch, but would be best served as a guard due to his lack of length for the outside.
Jacksonville could also go wide receiver here if they fear losing Marqise Lee and Allen Robinson in free agency. There just was not a wide receiver available that made sense over Wynn. A team that loves running the ball would be smart to load up the offensive line and keep feeding Leonard Fournette.
