2018 NFL Draft: Jacksonville Jaguars 7 round mock draft
By Joe Romano
Round 6 – Pick 206
Henre Toliver, CB, Arkansas
A luxury pick for the Jaguars would be a corner. The tandem of Jalen Ramsey and A.J. Bouye may have been the best in the league in 2017. Aaron Colvin has been a solid player in the slot as well. The depth outside of that is a bit lacking. Henre’ Toliver of Arkansas is the type of developmental player that is worth a shot late in the draft. Offering good size at 6-foot-1, testing will be important. His athleticism is the biggest question going forward.
Round 7 – Pick 230
Nathan Shepherd, DT, Fort Hayes State
The trade for Marcell Dareus solidified the Jaguars run defense. On passing downs sack artist Calais Campbell kicks inside and gives the team a boost at the tackle position. There is a slim chance Dareus is waived to save $10 million this offseason but that seems doubtful after they just traded for him and saw the impact he made.
What is more likely is the team prepares for the future once his contract comes off the book. A developmental tackle like Nathan Shepherd of Fort Hayes State is the type of player they should take a chance on. S strong Senior Bowl performance likely tossed the chance of him being here out the window. He is a “toolsy” tackle with extreme power and dominant tape.

Round 7 – Pick 247
Greg Senat, T, Wagner
Another small-school player who deserves a long look for the Jaguars is Greg Senat of Wagner. Tackle Cam Robinson looks like the team’s future at left tackle. The right tackle spot could be upgraded but is also manned by Jeremy Parnell who has been a solid signing for the Jaguars. Senat could be the tackle that takes over for Parnell when that contract expires.
In Senat, Jacksonville would get a former basketball with excellent length and athleticism. He would need time to get going and add size to his frame but there is upside there because of the athleticism.
