Bracketology: Midwest Region

(1) Texas Tech Big 12 vs. (16)  Grambling Southwestern

(2) Duke vs. (15) Nicholls Southland

(3) Auburn SEC  vs. (14) Wright St. Horizon

(4) Arizona Pac 12 vs. (13) Louisianna Sunbelt

(5) Tennesee vs. (12) Eastern Tennesee St. Southern

(6) Michigan vs. (11) TCU

(7) Florida vs. (10) Butler

(8) Seton Hall  vs. (9) Missouri

Eastern Tennesee St. nearly pulled the upset of the season, losing a two-point heartbreaker at Xavier earlier in the season. The heavy favorites to win the automatic berth out of the Southern League, they will cause havoc for any bracket this March, if given the opportunity.

It’s no secret that the Big 12 is from top to bottom the deepest league in all of College basketball. TCU has fallen victim to a variety of brutal, last-second losses, but all’s not lost for the Horned Frogs. If they are able to finish the season strong and win a game or two in Kansas City during the Big 12 tournament, they will find themselves in the NCAA tournament for the first time since 1998.
