NBA Power Rankings: All-Star shots, passes, dunks, and games

The 76ers rolled into the All-Star break on a five game winning streak, picking up victories over the Knicks on Monday and the Heat on Wednesday. TJ McConnell had a triple-double against the Knicks with 10 points, 10 boards, and 11 assists, a performance good enough to earn a water bottle bath during his post-game interview from Robert Covington. The 76ers never trailed in the game, and limited the Knicks to just 13 points in the final quarter. They didn’t have as easy of a time against the Heat in their final game of the week, with Ben Simmons helping lead a fourth-quarter charge to snatch a 104-102 victory. Simmons had a triple-double, and JJ Redick made a jumper to complete a 24-point comeback. “It just shows what kind of team we are,” Simmons said. “Fighting back, staying with it.” If that’s what it takes to secure a playoff berth, that’s what they’re going to need.
