NBA Power Rankings: All-Star shots, passes, dunks, and games
By Daniel Lewis
It was too little too late for the Mavericks, who lost to the Kings 114-109 on Tuesday night. The Mavericks scored just 44 points in the first half, while giving up 65. Zach Randolph had 22 points, looking unstoppable against the Mavericks frontcourt players, who didn’t have the muscle to stop the veteran big. JJ Barea had 19 points and 13 assists, but they needed 43 points in the fourth quarter and only had 38. Dennis Smith Jr. looked good in the Slam Dunk competition, but didn’t advance to the final round, getting beat out by Larry Nance Jr. and Donovan Mitchell.
