NBA Power Rankings: All-Star shots, passes, dunks, and games

The Nets are falling apart, with 11 losses in their last 12 games, a stretch of futility that couldn’t even be improved by Spencer Dinwiddie taking first in the Skills Challenge at All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles. They were smoked by the Clippers, 114-101, on their home court, with a lame defensive effort. “We couldn’t stop them. We never found a solution to stopping them,” Kenny Atkinson said. “They got downhill on us. We knew we had to keep them out of the paint and we never did. That was the story of the game. We couldn’t stop them.” The Nets lost 108-103 to the Pacers to close out the first half of the season, unable to execute down the stretch after taking a 95-93 lead with about four minutes remaining in the game. They’re a young team, and haven’t figured out how to win, but it’d be nice to see them play better at the end of games, especially on their home court.
