4. Philadelphia 76ers

Cream works tremendously well as an off-white alternate color, and adds a certain valuable slickness to uniforms. It fits into almost every color scheme seamlessly — it presents a perfect meeting place for multi-color sets (like the Pelicans), and it allows one-color teams (think Alabama) an opportunity to contrast their regular set and highlight that one color. Oklahoma football are one of the few major sports teams to use it recently, at least until Nike introduced it to two NBA teams this season.

The 76ers were one of those teams. You’ll see another coming up soon. Philadelphia used the cream as a base color on their City edition alternates, also featuring Phila script on the front. It’s simplistic, but it does everything that is necessary. Nike allows the marvelous script and color combination to work by themselves, thankfully neglecting extra components in order to showcase a uniform that needs no help.

This is an instant classic, and it goes well with the rest of their set. They use a version of the script on their red Statement jersey and have some of the best side paneling in the league, with contrasting stars and good-looking stripe patterns. The StubHub ad hurts, but Philly have very good uniforms, and their City editions are top-tier.
