2. Los Angeles Rams

If one NFC West team isn’t the right fit for Butler, but he still wants to head out to the West Coast to live in California, he may want to consider joining another NFC West squad in the Los Angeles Rams.

The Rams are a hot option for any free agent, mainly because of the ability to move to a new market that is rapidly growing when it comes to fans after a successful 2017 season. Their offense was loaded last year, with Jared Goff, Todd Gurley, Cooper Kupp and Sammy Watkins crushing it on offense. They had a strong defense to help carry the load, but things are changing rapidly this offseason.

Trumaine Johnson, the team’s top option in their secondary, is likely heading out of town this offseason, along with Lamarcus Joyner also going into free agency. Their secondary will be vital if they hope to bounce right back into the swing of things in 2018, and Butler could be a big name to help keep up the success in Los Angeles.

The Rams have the cap space to jump in on Butler if they want, and they’d likely need to decide between Butler or Johnson if they want to keep their secondary star-studded. Butler provides some serious playoff experience, and that’s what the Rams need if they want to make the jump with their young, inexperienced roster.

Their offense is already there, but their defense is going to need work to be a playoff contender. The Rams can win the NFC West again, and they just need to make a splash this offseason to make it happen.
