No. 4 Seeds

13.  Clemson (20-6) (West-Los Angeles)

14.  Auburn (23-4) (South-Atlanta)

15.  Arizona (21-6) (Midwest-Omaha)

16.  Rhode Island (21-4) (East-Boston)

Like the three line, the fours have their own issues and there is surging Arizona.

After an impressive win vs. Arizona State on the road, I think it is safe to say that Arizona can be a legit threat in March. Now, while it may not result in a Final Four just reaching the second weekend would consider this season a success with how the season started out for the Wildcats.

Clemson and Auburn both suffered rough losses this past weekend so now they will need strong finishes to improve their seeding. This past Friday, Rhode Island suffered a loss to St. Bonaventure and while that was great from the Bonnies perspective it more than likely places the Rhody “seed ceiling” at four and will not crack through to the top three lines.

Games of note this week

February 21st

Clemson at Virginia Tech

Clemson can avoid a late-season slide with a win at Virginia Tech

Alabama at Auburn

Auburn’s week starts off with an Alabama team that is more than equipped to take down the Tigers at home.

February 22nd

Arizona at Oregon State

While Arizona has won 8 out of their last 10, a trip to Corvallis should be easy right?

February 23rd

Dayton at Rhode Island

The Rams have played well all season but Dayton has won two out of the last three games in this series.

February 24th

Auburn at Florida

If Auburn can survive Alabama at home and Florida on the road then I will be mighty impressed.

Arizona at Oregon

Oregon slapped around Arizona 85-58 in Eugene a year ago. You think Sean Miller will remind his team of that?
