15. . TE. South Dakota State. Dallas Goedert. 27. player

Perhaps no team nailed their 2017 draft class quite like the New Orleans Saints. First-round selections Marshon Lattimore and Ryan Ramczyk each proved to be valuable starters from day one, while third-round pick and electrifying playmaker Alvin Kamara looked like one of the biggest steals in the entire draft. Now, the club turns back to the offensive side of the ball with South Dakota State tight end Dallas Goedert.

Goedert is the type of player you create in Madden for the sole purpose of plugging him into Sean Payton’s offense and has a good chance of being the first tight end off the board in round one. While you probably weren’t watching too many Jackrabbits games, Goedert was proving himself as an FCS matchup nightmare. His 6-foot-5, 255-pound frame and quickness allow him to line up all over the field and he has a number of one-handed, highlight reel catches in his resume.

Goedert still has a ways to go to be able to handle in-line blocking duties at the next level, especially with the steep jump in talent from the FCS. But his ability in the passing game will make him a big-time red zone threat from day one of his NFL career and give Drew Brees yet another offensive weapon.
