1. Offensive Tackle

With Jason Peters coming off a season-ending injury and Lane Johnson a PED risk (stay out of my mentions Eagles fans, he’s a repeat offender), the Eagles need to have better insurance on the edges.

Will Beatty will be in this massive free agent class for Philly and Halapoulivaati Vaitai will be the only proven backup at tackle.

Protecting Carson Wentz is too important to leave to inexperience or lack of talent. This is where a lack of Day 2 picks really hurts the Eagles and why getting them in a Foles trade is imperative. They need cheap backups with some talent, which means draft picks.

Deal Foles, get a second and a third, or whatever you can get, and take an offensive lineman with one of those picks.

There’s nothing more important to this franchise than keeping Wentz upright.
