High Value PG

Brandon Ingram, LAL vs DAL ($6,200): It looks like Lonzo Ball will return on Friday, but that should not cut into Ingram’s value all the much. You can get him as a point guard in DraftKings, but we all know that he’s a small forward with some point guard responsibilities. His assists numbers may go down, but his scoring should remain the same, likely going up with Ball back. Plus, there’s always a chance Ball struggles after missing so much time with the knee injury. Isaiah Thomas and Josh Hart are the guys expected to take a backseat to Ball. Ingram has hit value in nine of his last 10, including a 30.75 fantasy point effort against the Mavericks on Feb. 10. Expect another 30-plus points from him on Friday. ****

Dejounte Murray, SA at DEN ($6,000): Murray had 30.5 fantasy points against the Nuggets on Feb. 13. In two games as the starter against Denver this season, Murray is averaging 30.1 fantasy points. He needs 27.4 fantasy points to reach value on Friday. Maybe the Spurs are more comfortable as a team knowing that Kawhi Leonard may not return this season. The Nuggets are great at home, but their defense still leaves a lot to be desired and they are 28th against the position in their last 15 games. ****

J.J. Barea, DAL at LAL ($5,400): Barea has hit value in all three games since being moved to the starting role prior to the break. That includes a 25.25 fantasy point effort against the Lakers on Feb. 10. That number would put him just value over on Friday. Barea has been one of the most consistent plays all season, hitting value in 77 percent of games. Playing as a starter only increases the chances he hits value. Unless the Mavericks take Mark Cuban’s advice and tank the rest of the season, Barea will be over 25 fantasy points in this one. ***
