High Value C

Marcin Gortat, WAS vs CHA ($5,000): Gortat was a non-factor against the Cavaliers, contributing 9.6 fantasy points on Thursday. That wasn’t too surprising given that the Cavaliers don’t have a good center for Gortat to matchup against. With Dwight Howard, he’ll have a player who will keep him on the floor. He’s been hit and miss against Charlotte, but is averaging 23.9 fantasy points in the two games. He needs 22.3 fantasy points for value. He’s a bit of a risk, but the upside is there and the Hornets are 29th against centers in their last 15 games. **

Alex Len, PHO vs LAC ($4,500): Tyson Chandler is listed as doubtful, which means Len should pick up another start. He had 43.4 fantasy points as the starter against the Jazz prior to the break. He’s been over 40 fantasy points in his last two starts, although his previous start prior to Feb. 14 came way back in November. If Len doesn’t start, he’s probably not worth picking up because his minutes will not be guaranteed. Whoever starts at center for Suns would be the play in this contest. Len has done well in two games against the Clippers this season, averaging 26 fantasy points. He needs 20.1 fantasy points for value. ***

Tyler Zeller, MIL at TOR ($4,200): Zeller is listed a probable, but that makes me believe that he’ll be able to play on Friday. John Henson is expected back, which could cut into Zeller’s playing time. However, given the way he’s played, and the fact that the Bucks went out an acquired him to be a rotation player, he should still see enough minutes to make an impact. He needs 18.7 fantasy points to reach value and should be over 20 fantasy points. ***
