FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 23, 2018
High Salary SG
James Harden, HOU vs MIN ($11,400): Harden had 62.7 fantasy points against the Timberwolves on Feb. 13. He did struggle in the Jan. 18 contest, posting 32.9 fantasy points in that contest. Minnesota is 29th against shooting guards in their last 15 games. The Rockets will have no trouble putting up points against the Timberwolves defense. Harden is the more reliable play compared to Chris Paul, but Paul is the cheaper option if you’re looking to save money. ****
Victor Oladipo, IND vs ATL ($10,000): Oladipo has been over value in five straight and nine of his last ten. He needs 39.3 fantasy points to reach value on Friday. That should be no issue for Oladipo, especially against the Hawks. Atlanta will likely start to go with a youth movement, which will only make their already below average squad even worse. He’ll exceed 40 fantasy points without issue. The only concern is that this one is over early and he doesn’t play enough minutes to be over 50 fantasy points. ****
Lou Williams, LAC at PHO ($7,000): The Suns are last against shooting guards in their last 15 games. The Clippers are on a back-to-back, but Williams has been good in back-to-back situations, hitting value in seven of eight contests. He hasn’t performed well against the Suns this season, but he’s too good of a scorer to be held under 30 fantasy points on Friday. He needs 27.5 fantasy points to reach value in this one. Expect him to put up plenty of points and dish out more than enough assists against the poor Phoenix defense. *****
