FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 23, 2018
High Value PF
Thaddeus Young, IND vs ATL ($6,500): Young was over 30 fantasy points in the three games prior to the break. He’s getting it done on the scoresheet and on the glass, replacing the production that Domantas Sabonis was giving them earlier in the season. The Hawks are 20th against the position in their last 15 games. The Pacers are looking to make a playoff push while the Hawks are playing for next season. Young should be over 30 fantasy points once again in this one. ****
Serge Ibaka, TOR vs MIL ($5,600): Ibaka has been very good against the Bucks this season, averaging 33.8 fantasy points in two contests. He was on a hot streak entering the break and the hope is that carries over. He’s always been a streaky player, which is something to keep in mind. Given how he was playing prior to the break and the fact that he’s had big success against the Bucks this season, he should be over value on Friday. A 30-plus fantasy point game is possible. ***
John Collins, ATL at IND ($5,500): Collins picked up the start in the game prior to the break and had 31 fantasy points in 31 minutes. Teams without playoff aspirations typically go with a youth movement following the All-Star break and Atlanta certainly fits that bill. Expect Collins to receive more minutes moving forward, thus increasing his value. He needs 23.9 fantasy points to hit value on Friday. He had 27.8 fantasy points against the Pacers on Dec. 20. Another game over 25 fantasy points should be expected. ***
