Leicester are comfortably sitting in the top half of the table but are closer to a relegation spot than they are to the top six. The Foxes are 10 points behind sixth-place Arsenal and 10 points ahead of their opponents on Saturday, Stoke. The Potters have been the worst defensive team in the Premier League, allowing 53 goals in their first 27 games. If Stoke are going to survive, they need to improve their defense. A win on Saturday would potentially move the Potters from 19th in the table to 15th.
The Foxes have struggled in their last three games, picking up only one point and allowing eight goals. Claude Puel will look to reorganize his defense against a talented Stoke attack. Offensively, Leicester have scored the seventh most goals in the Premier League. Jamie Vardy leads the club with 13 goals, while Riyad Mahrez has scored 8 times.
Stoke have picked up five points in their first four games under manager Paul Lambert. Xherdan Shaqiri scored the lone goal for Stoke in their draw with Huddersfield in their last game. The Swiss international leads the club with six goals and has been their best player this season. If Stoke are going to win, they will a strong performance from Shaqiri. Defensively, Stoke have improved under Lambert, allowing only three goals in four games. However, all four games were against clubs in the bottom half of the table and did not have the skilled attack of Leicester.
