1. Cornerback

Fuller is now in Kansas City and Breeland’s contract has expired. Washington invested heavily in Josh Norman quickly after he was let go by the Panthers. But who is the starter opposite Norman right now? Washington used a third round pick on Moreau, who is a very interesting second year player right now.

Moreau has great size and would pair with Norman to give the Redskins size at the position that many would be jealous of. Moreau fell in the draft last year because of injury and many in the know saw him as a late first/early second round prospect if he were healthy. So Washington’s third round investment could pay off well going forward.

But other than those two, and there has to be questions around Moreau right now, the cornerback cupboard is mostly bare with the exception of Quintin Dunbar, who did play pretty well in limited snaps in 2017. The Redskins really need to find a starting slot option and would be wise to add yet another player at the position in addition to finding Fuller’s replacement in the slot.
