Friday, Mar. 2: Toronto at Washington, 8:00 p.m. ET

The Wiz’s week takes no break after playing the defending champs.

The Raptors are the best team in the East and probably my favorite to watch outside of the Sixers. The Wizards play them well and are 2-1 heading into the fourth game.

In both wins, the Wizards played well in the fourth quarter, so it makes sense that when they put up a measly 15 points in the fourth in November, they lost that game. Their second win against Toronto sparked the question asking if Washington was better without Wall.

Mini controversy aside, they’ve played well with Beal as their nominal point guard.

Since the Raptors’ loss to the Wizards, they’ve won seven of eight. OG Anunoby played only 13 minutes against the Bucks on Friday and didn’t score, but that’s expected for someone who’s only 20-years-old. Still, the Raptors need their young wing to play as well as he did earlier in the season, especially for this stretch run and battle with the Celtics for homecourt.
