NBA games of the week: Wizards enter the gauntlet
By Chazz Scogna
Sunday, Mar. 4: Indiana at Washington, 6:00 p.m. ET
Finally, after a whirlwind slate, the Wizards get to wrap up their week against the Pacers. Indiana has played beyond expectations this year, even making the front office look smart for their return on Paul George.
Like the other three teams the Wizards will face, the Pacers are streaking. As of Monday, they’ve won four straight games, though three of them came against the Knicks, Hawks and Nets.
The best part of this game is the potential playoff implications. Washington and Indiana are the fourth and fifth seeds in the East, respectively, with the tiebreaker going to the Wiz.

It’s going to be a helluva week for the Wizards, and if they can come out 3-1 or even 4-0, then they’d put themselves in great position in the East to best help their seeding.
