1. Case Keenum

While he’ll likely be due a lot more money after the season he had for the Vikings, Case Keenum looks like he’ll be worth the investment if the franchise goes in on him this offseason. There are reports that Keenum won’t get the franchise tag, but a long-term deal is still an option.

Sam Bradford is obviously the cheaper option with some proven success with the Vikings already, but Keenum pulled off some incredible feats in 2017. Somehow, a Keenum-led offense was the catalyst that brought the Vikings all the way to the NFC Championship game against the Philadelphia Eagles, falling just one win short of a potential hometown Super Bowl for the purple and gold.

Some may believe that run was a fluke, and that it simply can’t be replicated next season once defenses figure out the best ways to stop Keenum (see: Philadelphia Eagles). However, the Vikings can’t afford to think like that, and they can’t let the momentum they built last season walk away to a team like the New York Jets or even the New Orleans Saints.

No matter what, the Vikings should be forking over as much money to Keenum as possible for the Minneapolis Miracle that he pulled off in the divisional round against the Saints, and this is the perfect opportunity to do that.

The Vikings have three quarterbacks on their roster heading to free agency this offseason, and they have some big decisions to make. However, the easiest choice out of all three options has to be Keenum, given the wave he was riding all of last year. Bradford and Bridgewater are good, but Keenum took the team to the next level in 2017.
