Quarterback. Wyoming. Josh Allen. 15. player. 32.

The Arizona Cardinals have had a rough go since upsetting the Seattle Seahawks to end their 2017 regular season. First, their head coach retired after the game, as Bruce Arians decided to call it quits. A couple of weeks later, their starting quarterback also decided to call it a career, as Carson Palmer wrote a beautiful note to the Cardinals faithful.

Heading into next season, the Cardinals biggest hole is at that quarterback position. Replacing Palmer will be tough, but they could wind up finding a gem in the middle of the first round of the NFL Draft. Some experts have Josh Allen from Wyoming going first overall, but  the thought here is that he will drop, and the Cardinals could be waiting with open arms at No. 15 overall.

There is no denying that Allen looks the part, but he really did not perform well during his time with the Cowboys. If he does go to Arizona, he will have the luxury of throwing the ball to one of the best to ever do it, as Larry Fitzgerald committed to returning for the 2018 season. Allen will be a bit of a work in progress when he gets to the NFL, but some scouts believe he could be the next Carson Wentz.
