player. 35. . Edge. UTSA. Marcus Davenport. 25

The Tennessee Titans were expected to make it to the playoffs last season, and they did just that, thanks to the play of their quarterback, Marcus Mariota. Mariota had a breakout season in 2016, and while it ended with an injury, he showed that he has the stuff to lead a team to the playoffs. The Titans had an incredible upset win in the Wild Card Round, as they went into Kansas City and beat the Chiefs on their field.

When it comes to next season, the Titans have a couple of holes to fill. The AFC South should be much improved with Deshaun Watson returning, and possibly Andrew Luck, so they need to add an edge rusher. Marcus Davenport from UTSA is one of the better edge rushers this draft class has to offer, and he would be a perfect addition to a Titans defense that needs to get better at doing that.

Davenport played for UTSA, so he did not get much love throughout the season. However, he is going to show during the NFL Scouting Combine that he has the size and speed to be an impact player at  the next level, and the  Titans may be able to grab him this late in round one. Some experts have him projected higher, but if he is still here at No. 25, the Titans have to pounce.
