. Wide Receiver. Texas A&M. Christian Kirk. 27. player. 15

The New Orleans Saints had struggled mightily during the last couple of seasons, winning only seven games in each campaign. Because of that, it appears that head coach Sean Payton would be shown the door if the team struggled again in 2017. Well, the Saints finally won more than seven games, as they used a blend of a solid running back tandem, and a great defense to be one of the better teams in the conference.

When it comes to the draft next season, the Saints need to add some talent at the wide receiver position. The Saints did a great job bringing in Alvin Kamara to supplement Mark Ingram in the running game last season, so bringing in some talent to complement Michael Thomas has to be a priority. One player who could sneak into the bottom of the first round is Christian Kirk, who has been a standout player for Texas A&M.

Kirk has the body to be a solid player at the NFL level, as he has a nice blend of size and speed. During his time at Texas A&M, he established himself as one of the better offensive weapons in the SEC, and should translate nicely to the NFL game. He has the size to go over the middle, which is crucial in today’s game, and adding him would really take some of the pressure off of Thomas in the passing game.
