High Salary C

Joel Embiid, PHI at CLE ($10,500): Embiid has miss value in two straight. He’s coming off a disappointing 36.6 fantasy point effort against the Heat on Tuesday. He did well in the one game he played against Cleveland this season, posting 42.2 fantasy points. However, that number would put him well under value on Thursday as he needs 47.7 fantasy points to hit value. The Cavaliers still give up a lot of points and rebounds, but do rank third against the position in their last 15 games. ***

Karl-Anthony Towns, MIN at POR ($10,300): After missing value in three straight, Towns posted 59.4 fantasy points against the Kings. The Trail Blazers rank 18th against the position in their last 15 games. Towns has been a big time disappointment against Portland this season, averaging 31.3 fantasy points in three contests. He needs 46.8 fantasy points to reach value on Thursday. He’s the top option with Butler out and the Timberwolves need him to step up in a big way. ***

Julius Randle, LAL at MIA ($7,700): The Heat rank 24th against the position in their last 15 games. Randle continues to put up strong numbers in all categories and has been over value in four straight. Lonzo Ball being back in the starting lineup will cut into his usage, which is the only concern in this one. Still, Randle has played too well as a starter to think he won’t at least hit value in this contest. Expect him to be over 35 fantasy points on Thursday. ****
