High Value PG

Lonzo Ball, LAL vs MIA ($6,600): Josh Hart is out for the foreseeable future, which means Ball might regain his spot in the starting lineup. He played 24 minutes against the Hawks and produced 35.9 fantasy points. He needs 29.5 fantasy points to reach value on Thursday. If he’s back in the starting lineup, that’s a good sign for his value in this one. The Heat are a tough matchup, but Ball will have every opportunity to succeed. He should get you a minimum of 30 fantasy points. ***

De’Aaron Fox, SAC vs BKN ($5,800): After missing value against the Timberwolves, Fox bounced back with 34.6 fantasy points against the Trail Blazer. The Nets are 17th against the position in their last 15 games. Fox has been up-and-down since the All-Star break, but at home against the Nets is a great matchup for the rookie guard. He needs 25.9 fantasy points to reach value and should push 30 fantasy points in this contest. ****

Isaiah Thomas, LAL at MIA ($5,400): With Hart out, Thomas should see some extra minutes in the Lakers backcourt. He’s missed value in his last two games and has only hit value once since coming over from Cleveland. The Heat are 14th against the position in their last 15 games. He’s a bit of a risk due to his poor play with the Lakers thus far, but the circumstances dictate that he’ll at least be over value. Proceed with caution. ***
