Jimmy Graham rumors: 5 best fits in NFL free agency

3. Dallas Cowboys
During the 2016 NFL season, the Dallas Cowboys were the No. 1 overall seed in the NFC. Last season, the team took a step back, as they had to deal with the suspension to star running back Ezekiel Elliott. Heading into 2018, they need to add some new wrinkles to the offense, as we saw what happens when Elliott is not in the mix.
Jason Witten has played at a Hall of Fame level during his time with the Cowboys, and will go down as one of the best players in franchise history. However, he will be 36 years old before the 2018 season begins, and has not gone over 1,000 yards in a season since 2012. He was a Pro Bowl player last season, but his time as a true TE1 may be coming to an end.
Adding a player like Jimmy Graham to an offense that already features Witten would be incredible for third-year quarterback Dak Prescott. Graham gives the team another threat in the red zone, and would also take some of the pressure off of Elliott in short yardage situations. This Cowboys team should return to the playoffs this season, and if they add Graham, their offense could be something very special.
