DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 3, 2018
High Value PG
De’Aaron Fox, SAC vs UTA ($5,700): Fox has been over value in his last two games. He struggled against the Jazz on Jan. 17, posting 15.75 fantasy points in that contest. He needs 26.8 fantasy points to reach value on Saturday. The Jazz are on a back-to-back and rank 23rd against point guards in their last 15 games. Fox continues to get every opportunity to succeed in the Sacramento offense and Utah being on a back-to-back projects well for the Kings guard. ***
Jordan Clarkson, CLE vs DEN ($5,100): The Nuggets are last against the position in their last 15 games and on a back-to-back. Clarkson has been over value in three of his last four, but now his salary jumps to where he needs 24 fantasy points to hit value. He’s a better option that George Hill due to the opportunities he gets off the Cleveland bench. This is a matchup that should be taken advantage of, Cleveland just doesn’t have any great point guard to really punish them. Clarkson should be around value. ***
D.J. Augustin, ORL vs MEM ($4,600): Augustin has been over value in three straight and is coming off a 40.25 fantasy point effort against the Pistons. The Grizzlies remain banged up in their backcourt and will be without Marc Gasol, who they’ll rest on Saturday. Augustin is a reliable scorer who adds to his value with his playmaking ability. He’s done well as the starter since the deadline and this is a matchup that projects well for his value. ***
