The Los Angeles Chargers head into next season as a very sexy pick to win the AFC West, after finishing the 2017 as one of the hottest teams in the league. The Chargers began the season at 0-4, and it looked like they made a huge mistake with Anthony Lynn at head coach. However, Lynn proved to be one of the better rookie coaches in the league, nearly leading the team to the playoffs

Heading into next season, the Chargers need to get better on the offensive line. One player they could bring in is Texas offensive tackle Connor Williams, who has been one of the best tackles in college football over the last two seasons. Williams has the size and foot work to stay on the left side at the next level, and the Chargers have not had a franchise left tackle during Philip Rivers career.

Rivers can still sling it, and there is incredible young talent on both sides of the ball for the Chargers. While the roster does have holes, one could argue they are the more complete set of players of any team in the AFC West. Williams fills a big need for Los Angeles, who just may be the team that comes out of the division next season, which is their second in LaLa Land.
