2018 NFL Mock Draft: Josh Rosen heads to Broncos
By Brad Weiss
The Buffalo Bills finally made it back to the playoffs this past season, making it to the postseason for the first time since 1999. Still, the team lost in the Wild Card Round to the Jacksonville Jaguars 10-3, ending what was one of the better season we have seen from them in the last 20 years. They head into next season as a favorite to make it back to the playoffs, but they need to add talent on defense.
One player they could look to bring in is Da’Ron Payne, who won two national titles with the Alabama Crimson Tide. Payne is a freak of an athlete up front on defense, and the Bills need some help after losing Marcel Dareus to the Jaguars. He instantly makes the Bills better on the defensive line, and should be an impact player even in year one.
While Payne would help the Bills up front, the team also needs some help at the linebacker position. Luckily for Buffalo, they will pick twice in a row in the first round, thanks to a trade they made with the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2017 NFL Draft. If they add two to the defense in the first round, they just may challenge the New England Patriots for supremacy in the AFC East next season.
