With their second of two picks in a row in the first round, the Buffalo Bills should look to bring in a linebacker. The team received this pick thanks to a trade they made with the Chiefs during the 2017 NFL Draft, and because both teams lost in the Wild Card round, the picks just happen to be back-to-back. Buffalo may decide to trade these two picks to move up in round one, but if they keep the picks, look for them to add to the middle level of the defense at No. 22.

With this pick, the team should bring in Rashaan Evans, who was a teammate of Da’Ron Payne at Alabama. Evans was one of the captains of the Crimson Tide last season, which is a testament to how far he has come as a player. To be named a captain for Nick Saban is quite an honor, and Evans is just a fantastic talent from his inside linebacker position.

Evans has the size and speed to play on the inside, or the outside at the next level, and the Bills defense needs that kind of versatility. The organization has a great opportunity to really improve the roster in April, and they need to get these two picks right. Their head coach is a big-time defensive mind, so you could imagine the fun he would have adding guys like Payne and Evans to the mix on the Bills defense.
