2018 NFL Mock Draft: Josh Rosen heads to Broncos
By Brad Weiss
Playing against the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl, many predicted the New England Patriots would win their second straight big game. However, the Eagles had other plans, and in the process, Tom Brady was denied his sixth ring. Still, this team is once again going to be one of the better teams in the AFC, and they just may actually hang onto their first round pick this April.
With their first round pick, the Patriots should focus on the defensive side of the ball. The bottom line is, this team was shredded by Nick Foles in the Super Bowl, as the team failed to get any kind of pass rush. They could bring in an elite edge rusher via the draft, even this late in round one, as Arden Key may just fall to them with the No. 31 overall pick.
During his time at LSU, Key established himself as one of the better pass rushers in the league. He battled through some injuries last season, but he should be a key contributor for whoever drafts him in the 2018 NFL Draft. He will likely stay in the first round, due to his incredible athletic abilities, and the Patriots would be a perfect landing spot for someone with his skill set.
