2018 NFL Mock Draft: Josh Rosen heads to Broncos
By Brad Weiss
When Carson Wentz tore up his knee in December, nobody could have predicted that the Philadelphia Eagles would win the Super Bowl. Well, the No. 1 seed in the NFC did just that, shredding the underdog role in every round of the playoffs they played in. Backup quarterback Nick Foles was actually named Super Bowl MVP, after tearing up the New England Patriots secondary all game long.
As they look towards next season, there are a lot of questions. They are getting offers for Foles’ service, but with the uncertainty surrounding when Wentz will be back, he will likely stick with the team. With their first overall pick in the April draft, the Eagles should look to bring in a weapon on the offensive side of the ball, specifically at wide receiver.

James Washington is an elite talent at the wideout position, and really helped Oklahoma State be a competitive team in the Big 12 during his time with the school. He has a rare blend of speed and power from the wide receiver position, and his skill set should translate well at the next level. The Eagles have a lot of questions as to what wide receivers to bring back next season, and Washington could be a legitimate option this late in round one.
