The real question surrounding the Denver Broncos this offseason will be who will be their starting quarterback in Week 1 of the 2018 season. The Broncos went through last season with Brock Osweiler, Trevor Siemian, and Paxton Lynch, which led to them finishing at the bottom of the AFC West. That is pretty shocking considering they had a good running back, and their defense was solid once again.

While the rumors are swirling that they could make a play for either Kirk Cousins or Case Keenum, the team still needs to focus on this position group in the NFL Draft. There are some legitimate franchise guys who should go at the top of this draft class, and Josh Rosen is definitely one of them. Rosen had a great combine, showing a nice blend of arm strength and personality, and would be a good fit in Denver.

The bottom line is the Broncos cannot win with the players they have at quarterback right now, so a signal-caller makes sense at No. 5 overall. Rosen has the talent to be a solid player at the NFL level, and could end up being the best quarterback of this draft class. John Elway needs his franchise guy, and he would certainly get it if he calls Rosen’s number in the first round in April.
