Admittedly, this is not the best receiving class an NFL Draft has ever offered. Truth be told, the Bills traded up and picked the wrong guy in 2014 in Sammy Watkins, now about to be a free agent after a year with the Los Angeles Rams. However, the Bills could get a huge value pick at No. 53 in Texas A&M Aggies wide receiver Christian Kirk if he falls out of the back-end of the first round.

Kirk is explosive in the return game and as a possession receiver in the slot. At 5-foot-10, 201 pounds, that frame might knock him back to being a certain second rounder coming out of Texas A&M. He does move well, and found ways to be productive in three years in College Station. Kirk leaves the Aggies with 229 career receptions for 2,796 yards and 26 touchdowns. He has a knack for getting open and should be a welcomed addition to a lackluster Buffalo receiving corps.

Even though the UTEP Miners didn’t win a game last season, they will have a player that will be going in the top 100 picks up the upcoming 2017 NFL Draft. That player would be senior guard Will Hernandez. He is a huge prospect that could make an impact at a position of need at guard in Buffalo right away.

Hernandez is 6-foot-2, 327 pounds and had a great week in Indianapolis for the 2018 NFL Scouting Combined. He ran a 5.15 40-yard dash and did 37 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press. Buffalo might have Richie Incognito at guard, but the Bills need to be proactive in continuously rebuilding their offensive line. It’s the best way for Allen to inevitably succeed in Orchard Park with great protection up front.
