High Value PG

Spencer Dinwiddie, BKN at CHA ($6,500): Dinwiddie has missed value in four of his last five, but his salary has dropped to where he needs 28.4 fantasy points to be at value on Thursday. When these two teams met on Feb. 22, he had 32.3 fantasy points. The Hornets are second against the position in their last 15 games, so this is a tough matchup on paper. But his lowered salary combined with his success in their recent game should have you feeling good about his value on Thursday. ***

Tyler Johnson, MIA vs PHI ($5,200): Johnson came off the bench against the Wizards, but still played 38 minutes. He ended the night with 42.6 fantasy points. Prior to his injury that kept him out a handful of games, he had been over value in four straight. He’s averaging 22.8 fantasy in three games against the Sixers this season. That number would put him right at value on Thursday. ***

Terry Rozier, BOS at MIN ($6,000): With Kyrie Irving playing, Rozier’s salary is probably too high to make him part of your team, but if you have enough money left over, you could do worse. It’s not like the point guard market is ripe with reliable guys on Thursday. He needs 26.2 fantasy points to hit value on Thursday and had 25.3 fantasy points against Minnesota on Jan. 5. If nothing else, you know he’s going to get decent minutes and be utilized as a scorer/playmaker off the bench. He’s a risk at this salary, but there are things working to his advantage. **
