SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match

The Usos (c) vs. The New Day

I’ve read a lot of tweets and posts and things from folks who aren’t happy that The Usos and The New Day are on yet another pay-per-view together, but with this being the type of night it is, at least we’re going to get an entertaining match. With the tag team division being what it is right now on the blue brand, this spot certainly could have gone to another duo, but I actually don’t mind seeing these guys go at it one more time.

Even with the long history between these two, The New Day and The Usos still were able to keep things fresh with some amazing promo work a few weeks back, and even with a few months away from each other, they picked up right where they left off last fall. I’m expecting more of the same on Sunday night.

Prediction: With as much talk as there’s been about The Usos finally making it to WrestleMania –it’s crazy they’ve never been on the card — they’ve got to pick up the win here. I may have said “one more time” a minute ago, but I think that The New Day and The Usos will be in the ring together once again in New Orleans. However, I think they’ll be joined by a few other teams at WrestleMania. The Bludgeon Brothers are lurking and Gable & Benjamin are in the mix as well. There’s been no ladder match announced for the biggest show of the year thus far, and I think the SmackDown Live tag team division deserves that match.
