Six-Pack Challenge for the WWE Championship

AJ Styles (c) vs. Baron Corbin vs. Kevin Owens vs. John Cena vs. Sami Zayn vs. Dolph Ziggler

What started out as a Triple Threat with WWE Champion AJ Styles battling Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn has turned into quite the spectacle as there are now six men involved in this main event. We know why Zayn and Owens are here. They’ve been involved in a crazy storyline for months that took a big turn this past Tuesday night and we’re certain to see some of that fallout during this match.

The other big story that the announcers will play up is the WrestleMania saga of John Cena, who still doesn’t technically have a spot in New Orleans. He did pick up a nice win over Styles in a very good match to get himself in this Six-Pack Challenge, but that’s as far as that will go. I could actually see him being so close to breaking up the final pin as it happens but not quite getting there. He’ll say that he had his last chance and then he’ll get his match set up.

As for Dolph Ziggler and Baron Corbin, they’re just sort of there, aren’t they? Ziggler will take some crazy bumps and Corbin will do what Corbin does, but they’re just bodies at this point.

Prediction: It won’t shock me to see at least one or two “If AJ loses, we riot” posters on Sunday night. The WWE Universe would freak out if we were teased AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura at WrestleMania and it was taken away just a few weeks before the show happens. There’s absolutely no way that Styles can lose this match — and he won’t. There will be some good near falls throughout the match, but AJ is going to come out on top here, and we can finally start building to what should undoubtedly be the best match of the night in New Orleans.
