High Salary PG

Russell Westbrook, OKC vs SA ($11,500): Westbrook missed value against the Suns, contributing just 49.5 fantasy on Thursday. He played only 30 minutes as the Thunder put the game to bed in the third quarter. He’s missed value in his last two and the Spurs are third against point guards in their last 15 games. He had 49.25 fantasy points against the Spurs on Dec. 3 and needs 53.1 fantasy points to hit value on Saturday. The matchup is tough and Westbrook has struggled against the better teams since the All-Star break. But he always puts up solid numbers in all offensive categories. He’ll push 50 fantasy points and there’s always a chance he collects a triple-double and goes over 60 fantasy points. ***

Dennis Smith Jr., DAL vs MEM ($6,800): Smith Jr. has been over value in four straight and over 40 fantasy points in his last two. He’s the man in Dallas right now and it’s showing in his play. He enters a great matchup on Saturday as the Grizzlies are on a back-to-back and rank 23rd against point guards in their last 15 games. They’re also not a very good basketball team. Smith Jr. is averaging 29.5 fantasy points in three games against the Grizzlies, but all three were before 2018. The circumstances are much different and much better for the rookie point guard. Expect him to push 40 fantasy points. *****

Goran Dragic, MIA vs WAS ($6,400): The Wizards are 11th against the position in their last 15 games, but on a back-to-back. Dragic had 34.25 fantasy points against Washington on Tuesday. That’s been his only hit in his last three games. His salary has dipped to where he needs 29.6 fantasy points to reach value. He should turn in another solid performance where he’s right around value. He’ll certainly get the minutes to make an impact. ***
