High Salary PG

Lonzo Ball, LAL vs DEN ($7,800): After posting 47.6 fantasy points against the Nuggets on Friday, Ball fell off with 22.1 fantasy points against the Cavaliers on Sunday. He’s been hit-and-miss in three games against Denver this season, but the average works out to 42.2 fantasy points in the three matchups. He needs 33.1 fantasy points to hit value on Tuesday. The Nuggets are 28th against the position in their last 15 games. Look for Ball to bounce back with a great matchup that he’s had success against. ****

Ricky Rubio, UTA vs DET ($7,500): Rubio has been over value in three straight, going 15-plus fantasy points over value in two of those contests. The Pistons are 27th against the position in their last 15 games. Rubio had 30.5 fantasy points against Detroit on Jan. 24. That number puts him slightly under value on Tuesday, but don’t expect that number from him given his recent play. ****

Dennis Smith Jr., DAL at NY ($6,900): After hitting value in five straight, Smith Jr. mustered up just 12.4 fantasy points against the Rockets on Sunday. Funny how elite teams and the best defensive point guard in the league make rookies look like rookies. The good news for Smith Jr. is that he won’t have to deal with Chris Paul on Tuesday. He gets Emmanuel Mudiay or Trey Burke or maybe Frank Ntilikina. No matter who is in front of him, they won’t be able to stop him. *****
