53. . Running Back. Penn State. Saquon Barkley. 4. player

So far this offseason, the Cleveland Browns have added a veteran quarterback, and an elite wide receiver. Tyrod Taylor and Jarvis Landry should certainly help the team win more games next season, but who is going to play running back? While a player like Duke Johnson is good in spurts, it would be hard for the team to pass up on Saquon Barkley at No. 4 overall.

Barkley showed during the 2018 NFL Scouting Combine that he may be a generational talent at the running back position. He has the talent to not only make things happen in the run game, but is also versatile enough to be a beast out of the backfield in the passing game. Add to the fact that he was a special return man for Penn State, and you have the makings of a player who could be the Rookie of the Year next season.

Cleveland needs a star running back, and Barkley could serve as that weapon out of the backfield that can strike fear in the hearts of the opponent. The AFC North will have the Pittsburgh Steelers as the favorite next season, but the Browns are building something special. If new general manager John Dorsey can get this draft class right, the Browns should be a divisional contender in the next couple of seasons.
