After a five-game week, the Raptors will get an well-deserved two-days off before they travel to Orlando. The Raptors have feasted on bottom teams during their hot stretch. The inherent issue with beating bad teams is everyone expects it to happen. It’s only a problem if the Raptors lose or almost lose, as we saw with their game against the Dallas Mavericks. How dare a team with 50 wins get taken to overtime against one of the worst teams in the league? Sometimes, NBA teams plays like NBA teams.

The Magic continue their trek out of Dwight Howard’s shadow. They started the season better than expected, jumping out to a 7-4 record. Aaron Gordon was shooting approximately 75 percent from beyond the arc and looking like Orlando finally found a way to unleash him. They’ve won 14 games since, which puts them two games up on the worst record in the league. Being a Magic fan must be brutal.
