High Value PG
Kyle Anderson, SA vs GS ($4,900): Anderson had 11.25 fantasy points in 14 minutes against the Timberwolves on Saturday. He’s played less than 25 minutes in three of his last four, which is a bit concerning. What’s not concerning is Anderson’s play against the Warriors this season. He’s averaging 40.8 fantasy points in three games against Golden State. This is a matchup he loves, although the challenge of guarding Kevin Durant won’t be there on Monday. Still, Anderson should find himself over 30 fantasy points if he past games are any indication. ****
Cameron Payne, CHI at NY ($4,600): The Knicks are sixth against point guards in their last 15, but they are still the Knicks and they give up plenty of points. Payne should pick up his second straight start with Kris Dunn still nursing a toe injury. He had 32 fantasy points as the starter against Cleveland on Saturday. He needs 21.2 fantasy points to reach value on Monday. Given the circumstances, that should be no problem. ****
Quinn Cook, GS at SA ($4,500): Cook is dealing with a hand injury, but is currently listed as probable on Monday. Check his status before making any final decisions. He’s been fantastic in his last two games going over 40 fantasy points in both contests. Granted, it was against the Suns and Kings. The Spurs are a tough matchup, but he’s hot right now and someone has to score for the Warriors. It’s either him or Nick Young. **
