High Value SF

DeMarre Carroll, BKN vs MEM ($6,200): The Grizzlies are 22nd against the position in their last 15 games. Carroll has posted back-to-back games of 30-plus fantasy points. He needs 26.5 fantasy points to hit value on Monday. He had 39.2 fantasy points against the Grizzlies on Nov. 26, although that game was too early in the season to put a whole lot of stock in. The Nets are a competitive bunch and the Grizzlies have one win in their last 20 games. Carroll should provide his usual production. ***

Robert Covington, PHI vs CHA ($6,000): Covington had 14.2 fantasy points in 24 minutes against the Nets on Friday. It was his first miss in nine games. There might be fear that Covington will slip into another slump, but that should not be the case given the matchup. He’s averaging 36.9 fantasy points in two games against the Hornets this season, including 40.8 fantasy points in the Mar. 6 contest. Look for him to bounce back given his success against the Hornets. ***

Kyle Anderson, SA vs GS ($5,600): Anderson played just 14 minutes and had 12.6 fantasy points against the Timberwolves on Saturday. Don’t be too alarmed because this is a matchup he relishes. He’s been over 40 fantasy points in all three games against the Warriors this season. And with the Warriors missing three All-Stars, that will benefit Anderson’s play, unless their compete level suffers. Given that the Spurs need every win they can get in the tight Western Conference, effort should be no issue. Expect a bounce back performance from Anderson. ****
