NBA Power Rankings: Utah Jazz leap into the top-5
By Daniel Lewis
What a disaster week for the Nuggets. Thanks to Jamal Murray, their game against the Lakers not only had significance for the Nuggets playoff chances, but pride as well. They came out flat, made a run during the second and third quarters, and then choked the game away in the fourth. They bounced back at home against Detroit, but started a long road trip with a loss to the Grizzlies. While the rest of the Western Conference was winning games, they were losing, and they’ve fallen from the No. 5 seed down to the No. 9 seed. After their game Wednesday against the Bulls, every game is against a team with playoff aspirations. The Nuggets aren’t quite dead, but it’s not looking good for Michael Malone and his young team.
