Quarterback. Louisville. Lamar Jackson. 15. player. 32.

The Arizona Cardinals have had a rough offseason, as they saw their head coach, and quarterback retire. However, they hired a phenomenal coach in Steven Wilks, and he should get this team pointed in the right direction. In addition, they found out future Hall of Fame wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald is coming back for another year, which should make them dangerous in the passing game.

With Carson Palmer retired, the team now turns to Sam Bradford for at least next season. Arizona paid Bradford a ton of money on his two-year deal,  though he is certainly not the future for the team at the position. The Cardinals should look to bring in a quarterback with their first round pick, and Lamar Jackson from Louisville should be available in the middle of round one.

Some experts have Jackson as the best quarterback in this draft class, but some have him being a wide receiver. To put that noise to rest, let me say, Jackson is a quarterback, and he is going to be a fine one at the next level. With David Johnson returning, Arizona should be solid on offense, and with Bradford’s injury history, Jackson could be called into action sooner than later.
