Notre Dame. Mike McGlinchey. 17. player. 13. . Offensive Tackle

The Los Angeles Chargers nearly pulled off the impossible last season, as they almost made the playoffs despite starting the season off at 0-4. Only the 1992 San Diego Chargers had pulled that off before, so there is certainly some excitement when it comes to this team heading into next season. The team already made a big move on the offensive line by bringing in Mike Pouncey from Miami, and adding a left tackle in the draft makes a lot of sense at No. 17.

Mike McGlinchey is one of the better offensive linemen in this draft class, and he could be an anchor on this offensive line. The Chargers have an aging quarterback in Philip Rivers, who still has a lot left in the tank. Adding both McGlinchey and Pouncy this offseason would make the offensive line a strength for the first time in a long time.

Los Angeles has some elite talent on both sides of the ball, and may have the best pass rush tandem in the AFC in Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram. When it comes to the offense, the line is their only weakness, but it can become a strength this offseason. The AFC West appears to be their to lose, and they showed last season that they have a never-say-die attitude as a unit.
