5. Loyola vs. Florida State

The two highest remaining seeds in the NCAA Tournament would make for a Cinderella vs. Cinderella matchup in the Final Four. The chances of this happening are remote, but that won’t stop us from having a little fun and dreaming of what may be.

Loyola is the real Cinderella remaining in the Big Dance after they got last-second shots to beat Miami and Tennessee in the first and second rounds. Judging this team by that alone makes them one of the more fun teams to root for. But Loyola has an ace up their sleeve and they have a higher power helping them define March Madness this year.

Sister Jean has become an international superstar. The 98-year-old team chaplain and unofficial, official No. 1 fan of the Ramblers must remain on our TV screens heading into the Final Four. We can’t say goodbye to her in the Sweet Sixteen or the Elite Eight, so hopefully, she can put in a good word with the big fan upstairs and keep Porter Moser’s team advancing toward the Final Four.

For Florida State, they took out No. 1 Xavier on Sunday night to advance to the Sweet Sixteen. A No. 9 seed who many may not have had them making it out of their first round game vs. Missouri is a dangerous team tested by the strong ACC. This wouldn’t be a glamorous matchup, but it would be a celebration of the underdog.
