With big games with lots of playoff implications tonight, look to the Penguins, Bruins, and Stars to round out your lineup.

There are five games in total around the NHL tonight. In the early games, the Montreal Canadiens face the Buffalo Sabres (7 p.m. ET) and the New Jersey Devils face the Pittsburgh Penguins (7 p.m. ET). The Anaheim Ducks face the Winnipeg Jets (8 p.m. ET) and the Vancouver Canucks face-off with the St. Louis Blues (8 p.m. ET). The late game for the night is the Boston Bruins against the Dallas Stars (8:30 p.m. ET).

Over the next few slides, you are going to find what I believe are your best picks of the night. I’ve separated my picks by position starting with centers, then wingers, then defense then tying it all together with goalies and a potential lineup. I have six players for each position, separated into high-salary players who are worth their cap hit and high-value players who provide a better value then their low cap hit may suggest.

Important note, every day the goal of this post is not to give you a copy-and-paste lineup. Instead, each selection is given while highlighting the factors you need to consider when building a customized lineup for yourself. If you want to see an example lineup, you can find it on the final slide of the post, but I suggest you adjust your lineup to fit your personal taste.
